The Queen Square Imaging Centre is a specialist diagnostic imaging centre, conveniently located less than 10 min walk from our Until Soho site . The centre boasts the most advanced MR and CT machines with AI technology. We perform our CT and MR on this site.
Ultrasound scanning is highly dependant on the Ultrasound machine and the operator. Whilst many companies may use older machines and non medical sonographers, we only use the latest machines with World class Consultant Doctor Specialists to carry out your scan.
We use the most advanced Ultrasound machine available on the market- Canon’s Aplio i-series Prism Edition using Canon’s new iBeam+ technology.
The Canon Aplio Prism is a state-of-the-art Ultrasound machine that uses advanced technology to produce clear and detailed images of the body’s internal structures. Its advanced imaging capabilities are made possible by a combination of advanced hardware and software features.
In addition, the Canon Aplio Prism uses advanced software algorithms to enhance image quality and reduce noise, resulting in images that are clearer and easier to interpret. This can be especially helpful in detecting small or subtle abnormalities that might be missed with other imaging techniques.
A 3 Tesla MRI machine is an advanced diagnostic imaging tool that produces highly detailed images of the body’s internal structures. This machine uses a powerful magnetic field and radio waves to create images that are significantly sharper and more detailed than those produced by other MRI machines.
One of the main benefits of a 3 Tesla MRI machine is that it can produce images of small or complex structures within the body. such as the brain, spinal cord, or joints, with a high level of precision and accuracy – allowing the detection of the minor abnormalities , leading to more accurate diagnoses such as cancer, neurological disorders, & musculoskeletal injuries, and treatment plans.
Another benefit of a 3 Tesla MRI machine is that it can produce images faster than other MRI machines. Meaning that patients spend less time in the machine, reducing the risk of discomfort or claustrophobia. In addition , faster imaging times can help us make more timely diagnoses and get patients started on treatment sooner.
Because a 3 Tesla MRI machine produces such detailed images it is often used to evaluate conditions that require a high level of precision and accuracy, such as cancer, neurological disorders, and musculoskeletal injuries. These images can help us identify the location and extent of the condition, which can inform treatment decisions and improve outcomes.
Finally, in our experience, even when there is a 3T scanner in operation it is not paired with AI software to optimise the images. This is critically important in insuring that your images are of the highest quality. Think of this like buying a sound system which has not been optimised for its surrounding or the song. You will still hear the music but it wont sound great.
